E-buisness = Smartphones
One of the biggest reasons smartphones have become more popular is their increased level of accessibility. Four years ago, smartphones were used almost exclusively by businesspeople who wanted to improve their productivity at work. Now, with reasonably priced data plans and a variety of different phones to choose from on every major service provider, smartphones have become the obvious choice for 45.5 million Americans. Once hailed solely for their professional applications, smartphones are now seen by many as a gaming unit or a portable media player.
Many smartphone users access the Internet through their device. Some do it to shop online, others to look up information on a particular topic. Whatever the reason, people continue to use their smartphones like they would a computer. Intelligent businesses have made a mobile web page or created branded applications that allow users to access the main functions of their site. Making interesting, mobile-friendly content pleases users and keeps them coming back for more. No user wants to frequent a site that looks broken or awkward because it isn't optimized for mobile use.
If a company is serious about succeeding, they're going to take advantage of every opportunity out there that provides a chance to increase their sales. Even though it costs a business a small up-front investment to establish themselves in the mobile world, it is a necessary action to promote the company's growth.
